The Warriors fell, 28-26, at home after scoring a touchdown with only 14 seconds left in the game. Unfortunately for TMS (3-2), it didn’t get the following two-point conversion to tie the game.

Grant Elston ran for two Tonganoxie touchdowns in the two-point loss and Austin Ettinger ran for another score. Elston also had a TD pass to Ryan Musick and Ettinger ran for a two-point conversion.

Tonganoxie’s seventh-grade team lost, 34-20, at Piper, in Kansas City, Kan.

Lane Hecht, Brett George and Jordan Brown each scored a touchdown for the Warriors (2-3) in the loss and Hecht ran for a two-point conversion.
