• McLouth Friendship Club’s Covered Dish Luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17, at the Community Center. All adults over 50 are welcome. Please bring food to share, and your table service.
• Parents As Teachers Playgroups welcome all families in the community with children younger than 3 years of age (older siblings may attend). Playgroups are led by a parent educator and will have enriching activities in the areas of language, social-emotional, motor and intellectual development. Playgroups are literacy-based, meaning the theme is based on a children’s book. The activities are for parents and children to enjoy together, as well as with friends from the playgroup. Playgroup is a good place to learn and practice social skills.
Parents As Teachers is a fun, free, early learning program for parents of children prenatal through 3 years, sponsored by the McLouth school district and the Kansas State Department of Education.
