The Leavenworth County Commission meets regularly at 9 a.m. each Monday and Thursday at the Leavenworth County Courthouse, 300 Walnut St. in Leavenworth.

Agenda for the week of Oct. 17:

Monday, Oct. 17

9 a.m.: Public comment/administrative business

  • Approval of minutes from Oct. 13 meeting
  • Mark Wilson, solid waste: authorization to change part-time position to full-time position
  • Janet Klasinski, county clerk: Request to backfill previous position

10 a.m.: Commissioners will have a study session with staff on Sewer District No. 3

Thursday, Oct. 20

9 a.m.: Public comment/administrative business

  • Approval of minutes from Oct. 17 meeting
  • Approval of agenda for week of Oct. 24
  • Jamie Miller, emergency medical services: ambulance replacement

7 p.m.: Sewer District No. 3 public information meeting, Glenwood Ridge Elementary School

Friday, Oct. 21

8 a.m.: Commissioners John Flower and Bob Holland will attend the Northeast Kansas Officials Meeting in Atchison

This agenda has been changed to move the Sewer District informational meeting Thursday to 7 p.m.
