The Tonganoxie High fall sports parents meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, in the Performing Arts Center at the high school. The meeting is for parents of any fall athlete.

Enjoy the “State Qualifier” demolition derby at McLouth Threshing Bee Grounds at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18. Admission for adults is $10. Children 5 and under can enter for free. Pit side admission is $20.

THS football opens season with early morning practice

Boys soccer team enters 2012 with state tournament in mind

Improvement has been a consistent theme for the Tonganoxie High boys soccer team in recent seasons. Two years ago, THS reached the regional finals. Last year, they took another step and made it to the state quarterfinals.
