Randy and Amy Schwinn had a birthday luncheon on Sunday for their daughter Emma for her ninth birthday. Attending were grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Regean Clark turned 8 on June 30. She is the daughter of Mike and Kristie Clark. She has a sister, Zoe. Her great-grandmothers are Jennie Coffin and Evelyn Schwinn of Springdale.
Sharon Lynn and Evelyn Schwinn enjoyed a sister day on Tuesday, June 26. They had lunch, visited and did some shopping.
Kara Kruid and children Loralee and John Marcus were visiting Wayne and Anabel Knapp on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 26. They are neighbors of the Knapps.
Wayne and Anabel Knapp were in Lawrence visiting their nephew Ronnie Farris, who is at Pioneer Ridge Health Center. He is doing a really good job and will be going home on Thursday, June 27, to recuperate. We are all so happy for him. He was at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., for two-and-a-half months and was transferred to Pioneer, where he’s stayed for another three or four months.
