The Leavenworth County Commission meets regularly at 9 a.m. each Monday and Thursday at the Leavenworth County Courthouse, 300 Walnut St. in Leavenworth. During the week of July 16, the commission may meet on additional days as it discusses the county's 2013 budget.

Agenda for the week of July 16:

Monday, July 16

9 a.m.-noon:

  • Commissioner Graeber to speak at International Students Honorary Citizens Day
  • Public comment/administrative business
  • Approval of minutes of July 12
  • Board will discuss the 2013 budget immediately following scheduled items

2 p.m.: Board will resume discussion of the 2013 budget if needed

Tuesday, July 17

1 p.m.: Board will potentially continue discussion of 2013 budget if needed

Wednesday, July 18

9 a.m.-noon: Board will potentially continue discussion of 2013 budget if needed

1 p.m.: Board will potentially continue discussion of 2013 budget if needed

Thursday, July 19

9 a.m.: Public comment/administrative business

  • Approval of minutes of July 9
  • Approval of agenda for week of July 16

9:15 a.m.: Denial of building permit for 29426 187th St. in Leavenworth

10 a.m.-noon: Board will potentially continue discussion of 2013 budget if needed

Friday, July 20

9 a.m.: Board will potentially continue discussion of 2013 budget if needed
