Skeeter Kingsolver, McLouth, took the championship in the Professional Bull Riding “Red River Showdown” in Paris, Texas. Kingsolver topped a field of 40 bull riders with an opening round ride of 86.5 points on the bull “Stealing Time,” and a ride of 89.5 points in the championship ride aboard the bull “Priceless.”

Luke Cole was among the eighth-graders promoted from Pleasant Ridge Middle School on the evening of May 23. He is the son of Ray and Jeanette Cole. He attended a party after the promotion with other classmates.

For the past seven basketball seasons, Lindsey Graf could be spotted on the bench as an assistant coach at Tonganoxie High. Graf will return to the hardwood again in 2012, but she’ll do so just down the road.
