McLouth Happenings

McLouth’s 21st annual BBQ festival, which is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society to qualify for the American Royal competition, will take place Saturday, June 2. Enjoy a country breakfast, followed by a full day of events. It will all happen at Prairie Park on the west edge of McLouth.

Vacation Bible School for all children three years old (before June 4) up to kids entering sixth grade in Fall 2012 will be from 9 a.m. to Noon, June 4 - 8 at First Baptist Church of McLouth. The theme is “SONRISE National Park.” To pre-register, visit the church website, mclouthbaptistchurch.com, or complete and return forms found in the church foyer.

Tonganoxie Pickers will meet at 7 p.m. Friday, June 8, in the Tonganoxie Friends Church. The public is welcome.
