McLouth volleyball struggles at Valley Falls

The McLouth volleyball team got its first win of the season on Sept. 25, but couldn't keep the momentum in its favor on Saturday at the Valley Falls tournament.
The Bulldogs (1-23) went 0-5 in tournament play with losses to Baileyville B&B, Maranatha Academy, Oskaloosa, Doniphan West and Jackson Heights. The will return to the court on Tuesday for senior night action against Immaculata and Valley Falls.

What’s the best way to spend a snow day?
Shovel your driveway and paths, check neighbors’ driveways and then grab all your closest little ones and find the biggest sledding hill. Snowmen also are a must. Snow days are a great time to catch up on missed shows and much-needed rest. I love snowdays, they haven’t changed one bit even as an adult, although I am sure not all working adults can say that, but I am happy I can. I was excited to see the snowmen and other snow sculptures throughout the Lawrence and Kansas City metro areas.
