The Albert and Ella Edmonds reunion was hosted by the David Edmonds family Sept. 30 at McLouth Community Center with 33 in attendance. They came from California, Illinois, Colorado, Texas, Missouri, and Kansas. Next year’s hosts will be the Tabor Edmonds family.
Weekend guests of Margaret and Lloyd Smelser were her sister, Virginia Jones, and Virginia’s grandson, Pete and Eryn Mercer and family, all of Colorado.
Weekend guests of Fred and Catherine Smelser were his cousin, Tom Jones, and his son, Andrew, and Sierra, all of Colorado.
Weekend guests of Bob and Alfreda Ryan were her nephew, Tim Jones, and Melissa, of Colorado.
Sunday evening dinner guests of Bob and Alfreda Ryan were Mr. and Mrs. Tim Jones, Tom Jones, Andrew Jones, and Sierra; Mr. and Mrs. Pete Mercer and family, and Virginia Jones, all of Colorado, and Viola Edmonds, of McLouth. All had attended the Stanwood Friends Church Homecoming Sunday morning and enjoyed fellowship with a basket dinner.
Join in the fun with the “Threshers Lair Haunted Hayride” at the McLouth Threshing Bee Grounds. This event will be held two Saturday evenings from 7 to 10 p.m.: This coming Saturday and Oct. 27. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 and under.
