The last time Tonganoxie played host to Eudora on the soccer field, the match was over almost as soon as it started. The same couldn’t be said when the Cardinals paid a visit for Tuesday’s regional meeting, but fortunately for the Chieftains, the end result was still the same.

MHS had four girls and four boys in action Saturday at the Class 2A regional meet near Washington. Junior Kayla Steffey led the girls with a time of 20 minutes, 7.12 seconds, and junior Logan Hoobler led the boys with a time of 20:19.26.
