Tonganoxie students receive Emporia State University scholarships
Emporia State University scholarships total more than $2.7 million for the 2013-14 academic year, benefiting more than 1,300 ESU students.
A handful of those students are from the Tonganoxie area:
• Elliott Brest, Tonganoxie, HH Siegele Division of English Scholarship, Empowering ESU Scholars, Music Benefit Scholarship and ESU Homecoming Musical Scholarship.
• Deanna Durkes, McLouth, The Teacher’s College Scholarship.
• Sara Krapp, Tonganoxie, Leona Sneed Dillard and Emil L. Dillard Scholarship Fund.
• Haley Smith, Tonganoxie, Jeanne C. Galley Alpha Beta Scholarship, Bank of Emporia Scholaship, Ellsworth C. Dent Scholarship and Cora Anna (Munzer) Veenschoten Scholarship.
