Glenda Dickerson of Eltham, Victoria, Australia, visited in this area recently. She had dinner at TenPenny’s restaurant in Leavenworth with 11 former schoolmates from Jarbalo High School.

Jarbalo United Methodist Women met Wednesday, May 8, at the church. Seven members answered roll call and reporter 45 care calls. Two members reported on the two teas at other churches they had attended.

Rosie Oelschlaeger had the lesson and she handed out papers with Bible verses. Everyone took turns reading them aloud. Oelschlaeger also served refreshments to Faye Cleavinger, Larry Grove, Frances Jeannin, Elaine Onasch, Marilyn Oxley and Thamar Barnett.

Cary and Ann Oelschlaeger, Aidan and Abby, and Michael and Angela Oelschlaeger, Sydney and McKenna, had a Sunday dinner at a nearby restaurant. We welcome Gary and Ann and family to the community.

Rosie Oelschlaeger, Christine Black, Marilyn Oxley and Helen McBroom had lunch Thursday at Salty Iguana in Lawrence. They also went shopping.
