Bulldog runners win titles at Troy

The McLouth High cross country team was in action Thursday at the Troy Invitational.

Ceara Funk led the Bulldog girls, placing third individually in 20 minutes, 17.63 seconds. Savannah Noble and Ashley Nelson also finished in the top 10, coming in fifth and seventh, respectively.

The MHS girls won a team title with 24 points. Jefferson County North was the only other team with enough runners to qualify for a team score.

Ryan Bristol paced the boys with his fifth-place time of 20:05.81. Tristan Funk came in one spot behind Bristol, and Jordan Butler, Shane Adams and Braeden Pfau finished eighth through 10th.

As a team, McLouth beat out JCN and Valley Heights for the team title with a score of 26.
