Hall resigns at THS girls basketball coach

Tonganoxie High School girls basketball coach David Hall is stepping down after one season on the job, but the longtime coach said that was part of the plan when he was hired. Hall said Monday that when he initially discussed the job with THS athletics director Brandon Parker, they viewed the position as being a bridge between longtime coach Randy Kraft and a new coach after a year or two.

Hecht ready to begin Benedictine career

Carl Hecht had a big decision to make earlier this year. The Tonganoxie High senior could continue his football career in the junior college ranks or opt for a four-year school. Hecht chose the latter route, signing a national letter of intent with Benedictine College.
