Like the boys team, the MHS girls opened the season with a loss and then were defeated again Dec. 8. Horton outlasted McLouth, 43-27, in the girls contest.
A score from the McLouth-Immaculata girls game wasn’t available.
The teams were back in action Tuesday with home games against archrival Oskaloosa. The teams finish out 2015 on the road near Easton for Friday games against Pleasant Ridge. The teams open up 2016 with Jan. 5 games against Maur Hill-Mount Academy. On Jan. 8, the teams travel to the Holton area for road games at Jackson Heights.
