McLouth Happenings

By Shawn Linenberger - | May 13, 2015

Baccalaureate service for McLouth High School graduates will be 7 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of McLouth.

The McLouth High School Class of 2015 and the McLouth Ministerial Alliance are sponsoring the service. The community is welcome to celebrate with our graduates as we thank God for what he has accomplished in the past and pray for his continued blessings upon their lives.

MHS graduation is Saturday

McLouth High School’s Commencement will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Gold Gymnasium.

The last day of school for students will be Friday with a 1 p.m. dismissal time. Finals for seniors were Monday and Tuesday. Finals for freshmen, sophomores and juniors are Thursday and Friday.

The original last day of school was to be May 21, but McLouth USD 342, like many districts across the state of Kansas, pushed up the end of school as a cost-saving measure.

Class visits sights in Abilene

Sandy Walbridge’s modern living/career connection class recently visited Abilene to tour the Seeley Mansion and have lunch at the Hitchin’ Post in Old Abilene Town. Students also visited the Eisenhower Center and the Greyhound Museum.
