The 1-2 punch continues for Tonganoxie High cross country teams, though the squads just missed sweeping the Pleasant Ridge Invitational on Thursday near Easton. THS, with a score of 39, won the boys meet by 20 points, while the girls placed second as a team, just one point behind Basehor-Linwood. The Chieftain boys again ran well as a team, ranging from second place to 14th in team scoring (the top five finishers on each team count toward the team schedule).
