The Tonganoxie High wrestling team continued its impressive start to the season with a strong showing at the Eudora Tournament of Champions on Friday and Saturday. With seven of its 11 wrestlers placing in the top four and medaling, THS placed third with 228 points on Saturday behind Lousiburg (243) and Emporia (257.5).

USD 464 agrees on teacher contracts

The Tonganoxie USD 464 School Board and its teachers have come to an agreement. The board, after 40 minutes of executive session with Superintendent Chris Kleidosty discussing negations and personnel, approved, 5-2, an agreement with teachers.
Army breaks ground for Tonganoxie center

Tonganoxie Mayor Jason Ward said “it’s been a long time coming.” But on a frigid December morning with a biting wind, military personnel, local government officials and business leaders gathered Tuesday for a groundbreaking ceremony for the Army Reserve Center south of Tonganoxie.
