McLouth Happenings
The United Methodist Church Souper Bowl rival teams, McLouth United Methodist Church and Tonganoxie United Methodist Church will battle to tackle hunger.
Support McLouth’s team by donating cans of condensed soup. Go for extra points with cans of chunky style soup, stew, chili and pasta such as ravioli, spaghetti or Beefaroni.
Rush those cans here to church, or carry them to any of the other designated drop-off locations in McLouth: Apple Market, City Hall, McLouth Public Library, First Baptist Church or Town Clipper.
If you are not able to run down those cans, be a financial supporter by tossing your cash donation in the “big” soup can available at church. The last day for collection of cans will be Sunday during the 10:30 a.m. church service.
Be sure to encourage your friends, relatives, and neighbors to join in on the fun, and more importantly to help our fans, those in need. Let’s tackle hunger.
