Irish eyes will be smiling a little bit later at this year’s Tonganoxie St. Patrick’s Parade. This year’s parade will start at 11 a.m. instead of the regular 10 a.m. start time. Organizers from Entrepreneurs Achieving Success Together made the time change so that parade-goers could dine on Irish-themed lunches and beverages right after the parade festivities.

The U.S. Justice Department on Monday sided with plaintiffs in a lawsuit seeking to block a federal agency from requiring Kansas voters to show proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote using a federal form.
