Tonganoxie and McLouth residents among Emporia State University scholarship award winners

More than $2.53 million in scholarship funds are helping nearly 1,700 Emporia State University students from Kansas, 19 other states and 24 foreign countries during the 2015-16 academic year. Many students from the area have benefited from these scholarships. ESU scholarships and recipients are:

Tonganoxie

Hannah Pray, ESU Hornet, Presidential, Foundation and Transfer scholarships; Elliott Brest, Emporia Theatre Guild Fund and Charles R. Hill Theatre Scholarship; Kinsey Nelson, Mary Miles (Peckham) Graye Scholarship; Kaylin Nelson, Mary Miles (Peckham) Graye Scholarship; Andrew Lillich, ESU Hornet, Presidential, Foundation and Transfer scholarships; Morgan Tinsley, Mildred Fulhage Music Scholarship; Haley Smith, Kenneth Lee Tefft University Scholarship and DAKA Scholarship; Leah Miller, Blanche Kent Verbeck Scholarship, John R. and Lenore S. Zimmerman Scholarship Fund and Ralph Marion and Purna C. Lambert Scholarship; Erin Meador, ESU Hornet, Presidential, Foundation and Transfer scholarships.
