Occupation: Outside sales for an industrial shredder manufacturer in Dallas.
Dream job as a child: Train conductor, though Graveman still wouldn’t mind being a conductor today.
Interesting fact: His first car was a 1970 Impala that was a four-door and seafoam green, which were things he didn’t like about it.
“When I bought it back nine years later, those were the things that I liked most about it,” he said.
Digging deeper: Graveman graduated from Tonganoxie High School in 2000 and then from the University of Kansas. Graveman and Jennifer (maiden name Schmitz) married in 2004 after originally meeting at KU and dating for three years. Jennifer originally is from Holton.
The couple moved to McLouth for a few years. Graveman spent three years as McLouth’s mayor and was on the volunteer fire department there.
The family moved back to Tonganoxie in 2011 when Elizabeth would be starting kindergarten. They lived in the South Park subdivision for a few years before building a home just west of Tonganoxie two years ago.
Graveman’s hobbies include woodworking and working on old cars.
