New fire chief introduced at Tonganoxie council meeting
Tonganoxie City Council at its first meeting with a new council Jan. 8, 2018.

New Tonganoxie City Fire Chief John Zimbelman attended Monday’s meeting.
Zimbelman is retired as deputy fire chief from the Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department.
“I’m excited to be here … I’m looking forward to working with everybody,” Zimbelman said.
