The Tonganoxie USD 464 school board has opted to continue with its current bus system and not hire an outside company to handle transporation services for the district. Members were in agreement that any decision should come with more information about the district’s current arrangement. The district has always owned and operated its own fleet.

Tongie Tidal Waves win first meet; home opener is Friday at Tonganoxie Water Park

The Tongie Tidal Waves opened the 2018 swim season with a victory. Tonganoxie defeated Lansing, 723-504, last week on the road. Supporters will have options the next few weeks to see the team. The Tidal Waves are home the next three Friday mornings for meets at Tonganoxie Water Park. Each meet is set to start at 7:30 a.m. and usually concludes around noon.
