Tonganoxie High grad Miller earns postseason honors with breakthough year at Labette

A Tonganoxie High alum has made a big splash in her rookie season of college. Audrey Miller, a 2018 THS graduate, recently was named first team all-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference as a catcher for Labette Community College.
Traffic signals at U.S. Highway 24-40 and Main Street are expected to be fixed this afternoon

The city of Tonganoxie is working to get the traffic signal at U.S. Highway 24-40 and Main Street functional again. Assistant City Manager Dan Porter said Friday morning that the it was thought that a “component of the signal mechanism” was why the light was not functioning properly. Porter said he wasn’t sure how long the light has not been functioning, but that it was not working properly when he came through the light around 7:30 a.m.
Tonganoxie High soccer awaits regional pairings as postseason starts Monday

THS finished the regular season 2-14-1 after falling Monday to Louisburg, 6-0, at home and thenWednesday to Kansas City Christian, 3-0, in Olathe. Tonganoxie looks to be the No. 11 seed in the Class 4-3-2-1A Northeast Section Regional. Pairings will be determined Saturday at a seeding meeting. The postseason will get started Monday.
Tonganoxie High baseball enters Iola Regional as No. 8 seed

Tonganoxie High baseball had a final game on the schedule with Senior Night on Tuesday against archrival Basehor-Linwood. But the game got postponed until Wednesday due to weather and then canceled again that day due to weather conditions.
