Roma Rose Nave 1911 - 2007
Services for Roma Rose Nave, 96, Tonganoxie, will be at 1 p.m. today, Dec. 26, at Quisenberry Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Tonganoxie.
Mrs. Nave died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, at Jefferson County Geriatric Center, Winchester.
She was born July 5, 1911, in Tonganoxie, the daughter of Ernest and Ottielie (Meyer) Wenger.
She married Stanley Nave on Sept. 28, 1940. He died April 13, 2000.
Survivors include a son, Joseph, McLouth; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

What’s the best way to spend a snow day?
Shovel your driveway and paths, check neighbors’ driveways and then grab all your closest little ones and find the biggest sledding hill. Snowmen also are a must. Snow days are a great time to catch up on missed shows and much-needed rest. I love snowdays, they haven’t changed one bit even as an adult, although I am sure not all working adults can say that, but I am happy I can. I was excited to see the snowmen and other snow sculptures throughout the Lawrence and Kansas City metro areas.
