Samuel Tunget

A private graveside service will take place for Samuel James “Mayhugh” Tunget, 61, Lawrence.
Mr. Tunget died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, at his home.
He was born July 31, 1947, in Eureka, the son of Charles Henry “Hank” and Patricia L. Mayhugh-Wise.
Mr. Tunget was a self-employed horseman and a member of the Kansas Horse Council. He enjoyed hunting.
He married Charla Reetz on March 24, 1967, in Lawrence. She survives, of the home. Other survivors include two sons, Jim, Eudora, and Chad, Lawrence; three brothers, Charles Henry and Roger Mayhugh, both of Lawrence, and Kurt Mayhugh, Smithville, Mo.; a sister, Dana Mayhugh Robertson, Baldwin; and three grandchildren, Tori, Megan and Jesse. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Sharon Mayhugh Coup.
