A celebration of life service for Barbara Jones, 74, Shawnee, will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 22, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
Mrs. Jones died Thursday, June 18, 2009, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
She was born in Prescott, Maine, and had lived in Shawnee since 1956. She was a receptionist at Capitol Federal Savings on Nieman Road for 17 years, retiring in July 2008.
Mrs. Jones was a member of Merriam Christian Church.
Survivors include her children, Cheryl Roth (Darrel) and Randy Jones, all of Shawnee, and Joni Long (Richard), Tonganoxie; three sisters, Alice Hibbs, Corydon, Ind., Patricia Fillmore, Bradenton, Fla., and Joyce Brunelle, Prudenville, Mich.; a brother, Bud Fill-more, Paradise, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, preceding the service.
