Services for C.J. High, 90, Lawrence, formerly of Tonganoxie, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Family of Faith Fellowship, Eudora.
Mr. High died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at the Eudora Medical Lodge.
He was born March 28, 1919, in Atchison, the son of John and Margaret High. Mr. High was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. High was a truck driver for Watson Brothers Trucking, Kansas City, Mo. He also owned High’s Liquor Store, Salina, and High’s Laundry Mat, Tonganoxie.
Survivors include two sons, Michael High, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Vaughn High, Eudora; daughter, Debbie Sviridova, Copper Mountain, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
