Lawrence — Services for Donald Carbaugh, 77, Lawrence, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at Mustard Seed Fellowship, Lawrence. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.
Mr. Carbaugh died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community.
He was born June 1, 1933, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Lester and Minnie Stewart Carbaugh.
Mr. Carbaugh graduated from Tonganoxie High School and worked in maintenance for Hallmark Cards, Lawrence, until his retirement in 1997.
He married Estella “Joan” Guinn on Sept. 28, 1952.
Mr. Carbaugh was a member of the Square Delights Square Dance Club, Lawrence.
Survivors include a son, Kevin Carbaugh, Cheyenne, Wyo.; two daughters, Vicki Bradford, Madison, Wis., and Donna Baker, Baraboo, Wis.; a brother Wayne (Darlene) Carbaugh, Basehor; three sisters, Betty (James) Elmer, Tonganoxie, Mildred Crouse, Lansing, and Irene Taylor, Independence, Mo.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his dear friend and caregiver, Twila Higgins, Lawrence, and her three children and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, at the church.
