Mrs. Lewkowsky died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, at her home.
She was a Holocaust survivor, born in Sierpc, Poland, the daughter of Ruven and Sarah Lerer. At age 15, during World War II, Mrs. Lewkowsky and her family were forced out of their home by the Nazis.
