Ralph H. Robbins 1922 - 2010 Tonganoxie

Services for Ralph H. Robbins, 87, Tonganoxie, will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 22, at West Haven Baptist Church, Tonganoxie.
Burial will follow Monday in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, Kan.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Quisenberry Funeral Home.
Mr. Robbins died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at the Kansas City Hospice, Kansas City, Mo.
He was born Sept. 19, 1922, the son of Harry F. and Esther M. (Roberts) Robbins. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in World War II, and was the founder and former president of Midwest Carpet Co., Tonganoxie. Mr. Robbins was a charter member of the West Haven Baptist Church, Tonganoxie, and a 50-year member of the Henri Masonic Lodge No. 190 AF&AM, Tonganoxie, a member of VFW post No. 9271, Tonganoxie, and a past member of the Tonganoxie School Board. He was united in marriage Jan. 18, 1941, to Ruth V. Shingleton. She preceded him in death June 14, 2008. His greatest love was his cabin on the Lake of the Ozarks.
Survivors include two sons, David Robbins, and wife, Lisa, Tonganoxie; Finney Robbins and wife, Marilyn, Lawrence; three daughters, Mary Boudreaux and husband, Jules, Tonganoxie, Linda Owen and husband, Art, Oskaloosa, and Melanie Chapman and husband, Rick, Tonganoxie; four brothers, Raymond Robbins, Basehor, Herbert Robbins, Tonganoxie, Donald Robbins, McLouth, and Charles Robbins, Lebanon, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
