Florence Klasinski

Mass of Christian Burial for Florence M. Klasinski, 85, Leavenworth, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 306 N. Broadway St. in Leavenworth, with Rev. David McEvoy, O.Carm., as celebrant.
Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Evan Klasinski, Tom Keeley, Bobby Forshee, Chris Schermbeck, Greg Schwartz, Wyatt Forshee and Charles and Charles Albrecht.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at RL Leintz Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 8 p.m.
Mrs. Klasinski died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at her home.
She was born July 6, 1925, the daughter of Harry T. and Elizabeth (Behne) Ryan. She was born and raised in the Fairmount community and graduated from Lansing High School in 1942.
On Nov. 28, 1946, she married John J. Klasinski at Saint Joseph Church. He preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 2001.
She is survived by her children, Mary Jo Ross of Tonganoxie and Mark John (Janet) Klasinski of Leavenworth; a sister, Ida Jane Wacker; a brother, Mike Ryan; five grandchildren, including Jackie Forshee, Tonganoxie; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Klasinski also was preceded in death by a son, Michael; and her brothers, Eugene, Bill and John Ryan.
Memorials are suggested to Leavenworth Catholic Schools or Odyssey Hospice.
