Theodore G. Malloy Jr. 1927 - 2010 Tonganoxie
Graveside services for Theodore G. Malloy Jr., 83, Tonganoxie, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
Mr. Malloy died Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at his home.
He was born Aug. 21, 1927, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Theodore Malloy Sr. and Anna Marchin Malloy. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He also worked as a Kansas City, Kan., police officer and owned a private club, Club Where, in Kansas City, Kan.
His wife, Iris, and daughter, Pat, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, at Quisenberry Funeral Home, 604 E. Fourth St., Tonganoxie.

What’s the best way to spend a snow day?
Shovel your driveway and paths, check neighbors’ driveways and then grab all your closest little ones and find the biggest sledding hill. Snowmen also are a must. Snow days are a great time to catch up on missed shows and much-needed rest. I love snowdays, they haven’t changed one bit even as an adult, although I am sure not all working adults can say that, but I am happy I can. I was excited to see the snowmen and other snow sculptures throughout the Lawrence and Kansas City metro areas.
