Services for George (Ed) Klinkenberg, 56, Leavenworth, will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 4, at Tonganoxie Christian Church. Burial will be in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, Shawnee
Mr. Klinkenberg died Wednesday March 30, 2011, at his home.
He was born March 17, 1955, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of George Earl and Delores (Wolff) Klinkenberg. He was a truck driver for Jack Cooper Transport, Kansas City, Kan.
Survivors include his wife, Linda K. Gratton, of the home; his parents, George and Delores Klinkenberg, Lenexa; a son, Shawn Klinkenberg, Spring Hill; two daughters, Crista Ehrhart, Gladstone, Mo., and Kaley Pattison, Tonganoxie; two stepsons, Chris and Michael Gratton, Tonganoxie; a stepdaughter, Stacy Lewallen, Ozawkie; a brother, Tom Klinkenberg, Bonner Springs; two sisters, June Slocum, Prairie Village, and Carol Klinkenberg, Kansas City, Kan.; and 13 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie.
