Services for Jack H. Cronemeyer, 59, Lawrence, will be 2 p.m. Friday April 22, 2011, at the Circle S Ranch, 3325 Circle S Lane, rural Lawrence.
Mr. Cronemeyer died at his home on Sunday, April 17, 2011, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born Aug. 24, 1951, in Leavenworth, the son of Billy Jack and Joan Gruendel Cronemeyer. He married Elizabeth Moore on Dec. 26, 1974, in Lawrence. They had three children, Joshua R. (Emily) Cronemeyer, Berkeley, Calif., Kate F. (Rafael) Gonzalez, Lawrence, and and Joseph L. Cronemeyer, Lawrence.
He married Mary Stewart on May 1, 2002. They have one daughter, Dakota Jackson, of the home.
Mr. Cronemeyer was a carpenter in Kansas for more than 40 years and owned Tri C Construction. He served on the Tonganoxie School Board for two years. Among Mr. Cronemeyer’s passions were his family, cooking, tinkering on old cars and annual treks to New Mexico.
His first wife, Elizabeth, and his father, Jack, preceded him in death.
He also is survived by his sisters, Sonie (Larry) Haislip, Tonganoxie, Trish (Kevin) Finch, Oskaloosa, and Jeanne (Jerry) Lovell, Tonganoxie; and four grandchildren.
