Parnell Baldwin

A memorial celebration for Parnell Robert “Red” Baldwin, 83, of Kearney, Mo., will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 22, at the Park Lawn Northland Chapel, Interstate-35 and Missouri Highway 291 in Liberty, Mo.
Mr. Baldwin died April 16, 2011, at his home following a brief illness.
He was born Dec. 27, 1927, in Fargo, N.D., the son of Elton and Anne (Rose) Baldwin. He was a cattle broker for 54 years. His passions also included raising, breeding and showing Percheron Draft horses. Mr. Baldwin was a longtime governor of the American Royal, and was also honored to escort the Grand Marshal of the American Royal Parade for several years.
Mr. Baldwin was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Baldwin, three brothers and a sister. Survivors include his daughter Kathy (Bill) Baragary, Tonganoxie ; grandchildren, Austin and Jody Baragary; and sisters, Pat Wallachy and Marlene Davis.
