Terry Lee "TJ" Emmons 1974 - 2010 Gridley

Services for Terry Lee “TJ” Emmons, 35, Gridley, were Dec. 27 at the Southern Coffey County Middle School Gymnasium in Gridley.
Mr. Emmons and his father-in-law, Terry Lee “T.J.” Emmons Jr., 35, Gridley, died, Dec. 21, 2010, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Kansas Highway 58 at the Coffey County-Greenwood County Line.
Mr. Emmons, son of Terry Lee Emmons Sr. and Mary Ellen (Rizer) Emmons, was born Dec. 24, 1974, in Burlington.
He graduated from Gridley High School in 1993.
On April 23, 1994, he and Amanda Rae “Mandy” Eccles were married in Gridley.
Mr. Emmons worked for Osborn Grain and Rodgers Oil before going into the carpentry business with his father-in-law, Alan Eccles.
He was a member of the Gridley Christian Church.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar, the Kansas City Chiefs and time with his friends and family.
He leaves his wife, Mandy, and his children Amber Christine and Adam Bradley Emmons of the home in Gridley; his parents, Terry and Mary Ellen Emmons, Burlington; and three sisters, Mary Christine Johnson, Medicine Lodge, Angela Dawn Smith, Burlington, and Nancy Lee (David) Jesse, Palmer, Alaska.
