Richard "Pete" Hinze 1947 - 2011 Tonganoxie

Services for Richard “Pete” Hinze, 63, Tonganoxie, will be 7 p.m. Monday, March 21, at the United Methodist Church in Tonganoxie.
Mr. Hinze died March 15, 2011, at Kansas University Hospital, Kansas City, Kan.
Mr. Hinze was born June 22, 1947, in Kansas City, Kan., to Mark and Judith Henderson Hinze. He was united in marriage to Patricia Bradshaw on July 9, 1973, in Kansas City, Kan.
He was a graduate of Johnson County Community College with an associate’s degree of applied science. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa fraternity and a past member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He served as a conductor for the Santa Fe Railroad and was a member of the United Transportation Union.
Survivors included his wife, Patricia; children Chris, Steve, Christine, Jarrod and Kelly; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He also leaves behind sisters, Nancy, Kathy and brother, Terry.
The family will receive friends beginning one hour before the service at the church.
