Cleo M. Ingerson 1930 - 2012 Leavenworth

Cleo M. Ingerson, 82, of Leavenworth passed away March 10, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Lansing, KS. She was born on March 2, 1930 to Edward D. and Edythe M. Smith in Old East Leavenworth, Missouri. She married Edward E. Ingerson on July 24, 1947 in Topeka, Kansas. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the VFW Auxiliary. She was a leader in the 4-H for more than 30 years. She bowled, loved gardening and being with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband in 1984, her daughter, Elvira Winkler, three grandsons, Michael E. Winkler, Robin J. Winkler and Joel E. Glenn, two sisters, Edra E. Price and Erma J. Johnson and a son-in-law, David L. Foster.
Survivors are two daughters, Judith E. Glenn and husband James and Debra J. Foster, two sons, Edward E. Ingerson and wife Becky and Robin (Ted) Ingerson and wife Debby and a brother-in-law, Melvin D. May.
She also leaves 29 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the Davis Funeral Chapel.
The family was present to receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Davis Funeral Chapel.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m.Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the Davis Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery, Leavenworth County, KS.
