Caralee Laming Greene 1920 - 2012 Overland Park
Tonganoxie native Caralee Laming Greene, 92, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away November 15, 2012. Caralee was born March 19, 1920, in Kansas City, MO, the oldest child of Foster and Ruby Laming. Memorial Services will be Sunday, November 25, 2012, 1:00 PM at Colonial Church, 7039 Mission Rd., Prairie Village, KS 66208. Caralee was preceded in death by her husband Jack Greene and one brother Tom Laming. Raised in Tonganoxie, she was a graduate of Stephens College and Kansas State University where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She lived in Great Bend, Mission, and Leawood, KS. Caralee and Jack retired to Peoria, AZ, and then returned to Overland Park where she resided until her death. She developed lifelong friendships everywhere she lived. She was always an active PEO and church member. She loved Kansas State University and enthusiastically cheered for the Wildcats. She is survived by her son Don Reynolds, daughters Marty White, and Mary Beth Blake. Caralee is also survived by four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and her brother F. W. “Bud” Laming. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Colonial Church or Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care, 9223 Ward Pkwy, #100, KCMO 64114.
