Tommy Ray Fevurly 1947 - 2017 Osage Beach, MO

Tommy Ray Fevurly, 69, passed away March 26, 2017 in Osage Beach, MO.
Tommy was born on April 25, 1947 in Manhattan, KS, to Ralph and Florence Fevurly. Tommy graduated in 1965 from Leavenworth High School, in Leavenworth, KS.
Tommy served in the Vietnam War, where he was an Army Airborne Ranger. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal “V” and Purple Heart.
After completing his military service, Tommy attended Northeast Missouri State Teachers College in Kirksville, MO, graduating with a degree in education. Mr. Fevurly ultimately spent more than 30 years in education in Missouri and Kansas, serving as a teacher, principal, and superintendent.
In his spare time Tommy enjoyed waterskiing, flying airplanes, ballroom dancing, and singing of all kinds (from his church choir to karaoke).
Tommy is survived by his mother, Florence Ellen Ball, of Sun City, AZ; a daughter, Tiffany Mellencamp, her husband Jeff Mellencamp, and two grandchildren, Spencer and Macy Mellencamp, all of Camdenton, Missouri; and a son, Michael Fevurly, of Portland, OR.
Burial was in Fall Creek Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.
