I have a weather radio. I actually have a room under the garage under a reinforced concrete floor. It’s pretty safe.

We have the weather radio, and I’m an amateur radio operator, so I can tune into the storm watchers. We have a designated room downstairs we think is safe.
Diana Zhawlen ( in De Soto) says...
We have the (weather) radio, and we listen intensely. And when it’s time to go, we have a place in the basement we all go to.

Yes we do. We carry insurance on our home and cars. We have a safe room in the basement that is all reinforced concrete. We have enough food and can get the water jugs filled before the power goes out.
But why would we want to take any precautions since we have FEMA? They will take care of everything for us if we fail to be responsible.
