“It's relieving and assuring to know that no more lives will be lost because of him. But it is also hard to ‘celebrate’ his death because how much different are we from him if we display the same level of hatred that he did?”

“Our military did a fantastic job tracking down and eliminating a mass murderer. It’s good to see the previous and current administrations work with one goal in mind: to eliminate the al-Qaida reign of terrorism. I hope President Obama has on his agenda a plan to continue tracking down and ousting terrorism in the world. By assassinating bin Laden, it may bring closure to some families of 9-11 as well as the troops and their families whose lives have been changed for these past 10 years. As stated by several of our government officials: ‘Justice has been done.’ “

“I was happy to hear the news, but think that we (the U.S.) would be foolish to think eliminating Osama is going to alter the resolve of the jihadists to inflict harm or kill Americans. Now would be the time to press harder against the Pakistani government to be more forthcoming in what it knows about al-Qaida so we can surge against al-Qaida in its scattered state.”
