“I am thankful for all of the usual things of friends and family, my comfortable home and very comfortable life. This year, I'm grateful for the cookbooks I have inherited from my grandma. Since she has recently passed, I can carry on the food traditions from her cookbooks.”

“I am thankful for a country in which I have so much freedom. I can worship the one true God without having to worry about the federal government jailing me. I can participate in sports and still be a part of a top-notch education system.”

“As I look back over the year, and remember how sick my mother was in January, I’m most thankful for the excellent care she received at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. The skill and compassion of the doctors, nurses and therapists on the fourth floor Rehab Center truly saved her life and for that I’m forever grateful to them. My mother will soon be 87 years old.”
