Grant Ritchey ( in Tonganoxie) says...
“I’m in favor of freedom of religion and freedom from religion, but I feel that this bill’s motive is to condone discrimination. If this is the case, it is morally wrong and should be defeated.”
Aaron McIntyre ( in Tonganoxie) says...
“Yes, I agree with the proposal because I would not want the government to infringe on my religious beliefs.”

Could it just as easily be defined as discrimination by gays against traditional Christian beliefs. We hear in the media today that the rights of gays are being denied when in fact they have the same rights, the same opportunities as everyone else. Christian beliefs have been the bedrock of our nations culture and values. The constitution merely states that the federal government shall not establish a national religion. No where is freedom from religion a guiding principle or constitutional requirement. The statement that people stand behind that is unconstitutional in its belief is "freedom from religion". To have such a system would infringe upon the inalienable right of freedom of speech. But the progressive doesn't much care about individual rights.

Christians do not "own" any set of values...they are shared with many religions.
It seems that these days that everything decent and moral is credited to Christians while all evil is blamed on Non-christians.
Let God do the judging.

The bottom line is that Christians and those of other religions who have religious convictions should not be forced to support lifestyles or activities by others on their properties that violate their conscience. Religious liberty should be protected in Kansas and this law is a step to protect that liberty.

The bottom line is that this law protects the rights of those who look down their noses at others and JUDGE them.
