Carrie Coffin wipes a tear from her eye as she reads the special notes given to her by her daughter Grace during the special Mother's Day Tea Party Friday at the Tonganoxie Elementary School. "This was the best present I've ever had," Coffin said. Deanna Sittner invited the moms to her second grade class. The students greeted their moms with tissue paper flowers, performed Louis Armstrong's "It's a wonderful world" with pictures they had drawn and finally served moms drinks and cookies. "I just do this every year to show moms that they are special," Sittner said.
