Pam Jeannin, with help from fellow Tonganoxie residents, cuts the ribbon at a dedication ceremony Thursday at the Chieftain Remembrance Walk outside Tonganoxie High School. Left of Jeannin, also in light blue, is Kelly Frantz, who is Jeannin's daughter. Frantz's husband, Cpl. Lucas Frantz, was killed in 2005 while serving in Iraq. The courtyard grew from an idea to honor Frantz and will recognize living and deceased members of the community for years to come.
