Tonganoxie school district returns to in-person learning
In-person learning in Tonganoxie USD 464 returned Tuesday. The school district suspended in-person learning in November amid rising COVID-19 numbers and limited staff due to pandemic quarantine protocols, challenges that affected districts statewide as an unprecedented 2020 pushed to its final weeks.

The Tonganoxie USD 464 Board of Education will be discussing a strategic reopening plan and Superintendent Loren Feldkamp’s remote learning recommendation from last week’s remote learning recommendation.

Tonganoxie USD 464 extends closures to public use of any campus grounds
Tonganoxie USD 464 announced late last week that classes and activities would be canceled for at least the next week due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Now district officials are making all Tonganoxie schools property off limits to the public as well. In a release posted online and through social media, the district announced Monday that all USD 464 buildings were off limits until further notice.
